PROMYS (Program in Mathematics for Young Scientists) at Boston University is the parent program of PROMYS Europe at the University of Oxford, PROMYS India at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, and PROMYS Italia at the University of Padua.

PROMYS will run from June 28 - August 8, 2026 at Boston University. Counselors will be expected to arrive on June 21, one week before the students.
Counselor applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis starting February 1. The deadline to apply is March 15 at 11:59 pm (EDT).

PROMYS 2026 will run from June 28 to August 8 at Boston University.
Application deadline: March 15, 2026. Returning student applicants do not need to submit a problem set, transcript, or teacher recommendation form.
Returning students will be responsible for reviewing Number Theory and for immersing in new mathematics as well. To this end, we will offer three advanced seminars as well as a several mentored research projects. In addition, returning students serve as role models for the first-years.
